Welcome to Barceloneta. Since 1990 Barceloneta has served a large range of Mediterranean food in a 'tapas' style accompanied with an extensive range of Spanish wines, liqueurs and aperitifs. 	The tapas tradition is the custom of gathering at 'tascas' (watering holes providing food) for a glass of sherry, wine or beer and sampling a range of different dishes amongst friends. Now picture scores of Spaniards packed in a bar, heartily and heatedly engaging in conversation while at the same time drinking and eating: it is obvious the tapas atmosphere is far from sedate. Grab yourself a drink, order your dishes and away you go.
